All building materials that are going to be removed due to damage or for the purposes of remodeling must be tested by a Colorado certified building Inspector for Asbestos (a known human carcinogen) as set forth by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Indoor Environment’s Regulation 8 (It’s the law). If Asbestos is present it must be removed by a General Abatement Contractor and certified personnel.
